Saucisson is a world where the absurd becomes ordinary and the ordinary turns strange. Perspectives shift—inside and outside, subject and object—until observation itself feels unstable. The feeling of a strange, unbidden dream from the depths of one’s mind, where nothing is sacred, yet everything demands to be seen.

Biography

Izabelė Kuzelytė and Elena Kosovec are Lithuanian artists and members of Taigi Cirkas, a company founded in Vilnius in 2016.

Elena Kosovec studied dramaturgy at ESAC and CNAC. She currently heads the Contemporary Circus Association in Lithuania and aims to develop contemporary circus in the Baltic region. Both an aerialist and a circus dramaturge, Elena emphasizes critical thinking and creates by blending visual, verbal, and bodily expressions.

Izabelė Kuzelytė received her circus training at FLIC. She is an active member of the Contemporary Circus Association, working in Germany (Munich) with the local circus community. Inspired by surrealism and the absurd, Izabelė believes that circus can be bold, emotionally evocative, and capable of confronting societal norms.
