Three circus performers, united by straps, explore the expression of their relationship through this common bond. Acrobats and objects become one. How can intimacy reveal itself in a group? How can an individual be part of a whole? Le Témoignage de la Chimère invites the audience on a journey from the individual to the collective.

Biography

Pablo Penailillo, Nicolás Palma, and Cristóbal Espoz are Chilean artists trained at CNAC, ESAC, and EsactoLido, specialising in aerial straps. In 2024, they cocreated Le Témoignage de la Chimère.

Pablo Penailillo, a founding member of the CMR company, began to work on 9.8 in 2021. He also performs with Diphtongue company, Gratte Ciel, and Cirque Imagine. In 2023, he completed CNAC’s Circus Dramaturgy Certification.

Nicolás Adolfo Palma developed his own style, Air Flow, and performs with the companies Circo Dragone, La Dame de Pique, and L’MRGée. He also leads aerial straps workshops at Esacto-Lido.

Cristóbal Alejandro Espoz collaborates with Proteo and Daraomaï companies. He founded Cie XD and is presenting a new piece in 2024 with acrobat Violeta Martinez.
