Contortion, trapeze
A dive into the emotion of the exile. Through swinging trapeze, live music and paint, two performers express chaos, resilience and hope. In a landscape of kraft paper and coal, emotions, lost words and sound come together to tell a fragile, borderless story. The body builds its landscape, like the exile who makes a new place his own.
Lucía Heege Torres is a swinging trapeze artist, contortionist, and visual artist. She began her career at Escola Massana in Barcelona before moving to Turin in 2016 to train professionally in circus arts at FLIC, later continuing her studies at CNAC in France in 2021.
After graduating, Lucía began developing her first show, Kraquement. In 2023, she contributed to Insomnia, a site-specific creation at the Stella Matutina Museum on Réunion Island, and participated in Hand to Hand, a pan-European project exploring new ecological perspectives in circus. As part of this project, she created the site-specific performance Petralaions. In 2024–25, she will join the creation of the Ateneu Popular de 9 Barris, Rara Avis, directed by Natalia Barraza.
