In dialogue with a musician, the artist embodies ecological ruptures and scars. A circus of relationship and mutual dependence, and a search for shared ground.

Biography

Verena Schneider is an Austrian artist working at the crossroads of contemporary circus, dance, and performance. Trained at Ésacto’Lido in Toulouse, FLIC in Turin, and Codarts in Rotterdam, her practice combines handstand, acro-dance, object manipulation and choreographic research. She co-founded Kumquat Company with Charlotte Le May in Toulouse, as well as the Vienna-based association Freifall.
