Aerials, new magic, puppetry

How long does it take for comfort to turn into denial? In a suspended house, a passive inhabitant is trapped within his own illusions. AMOW, a mythical force, distorts his comfort into a nightmare: the furniture comes alive, and the scenography turns into a possessed machine. Through aerial movement, the performer’s body becomes a threshold between the structure and the void.

Biography

Cie Suspendu was founded by Danny Tavori, a contemporary circus artist whose work combines aerial practice, movement research and rigging design. Born in Israel, he trained in aerial rope at FLIC in Turin, and later completed the MFA in Contemporary Circus Practices at DOCH, Stockholm. With Nir Jacob Younessi and Oscar De Nova de la Fuente, he forms the touring team of AMOW.
