Rope, knife throwing
BODY TERRITORY talks about these stories that silence us, where law is absent and justice is rare, or non-existent. On stage: three women, one rope, and a lot of knives. A feminist western that gives voice to grandmothers, migrant women, and women who have been judged or condemned. A polyphonic rebellion looking for a better world.
Marion Coulomb and Pépita Car met in 2021 and created LA BOITE DE PANDORE. In 2023, they founded BETTERLAND, an imaginary space where creation and resistance coexist. They are currently working on their new creation BODY TERRITORY.
Marion Coulomb discovered visual arts in boarding school and earned a BTS in graphic design and publishing. At 24, she studied circus at Piste d’Azur, Le Salto and Passe-Muraille. In 2018, she co-founded Deux dames au volant and created street theater performances.
Pépita Car studied at EM Lyon and specialized in cultural management at ENSATT. She worked in cultural diplomacy for over six years. Today, Pépita is a director, musician and actor who creates microsocieties on stage that address contemporary issues.
