Trapeze, mouth balance, scissor throwing
Through a poetic and absurd language, Peluda talks about beauty, aesthetic judgment and hair, and questions social norms. Peluda is a celebration of hair. A meeting of hair in quantity and quality for those who have it and those who don’t.
Júlia Campistany is a trapeze artist and mouth equilibrist. After graduating from Codarts Circus Arts, she created It Happens (2019), Rita (2022), Peluda (2023), Cirquemétrage (2025), and worked as an outside eye and director. She explores hybrid forms at the intersection of dance and circus, often leading both the artistic and production processes.
Júlia has been a guest teacher at Codarts Circus Arts, leading composition classes and assisting in group creations. She is currently collaborating with Festival Circolo on a two-year artistic trajectory.
