The 2026 Finalist Carlos Landaeta Meneses will be in residence at L'Espace Périphérique, Paris (France) from 11 to 20 May.

An injured body lies surrounded by books. The audience is invited onto the stage to choose a text and read aloud. Blood Flow Reading Club offers a singular experience in which the voices of those silenced speak through the audience. Here, the subaltern figure is heard. A performance about the limits of the body, violence, and resistance.
Biography
Carlos Landaeta Meneses is a Venezuelan circus artist based in Brussels. He/she trained at Arc en Cirque in France before earning a circus degree in Brussels. Today, he/she leads artistic research labs and facilitates workshops exploring decolonialism and power relations.
